petty(n)dreich~ awy(n)nar(is) of a keilschip now p(re)sent with~in
the havin of this burgh~ on that±othir(e) partie anence the
debat(is) movit betuex thai(m) bath~ anence the frachti(n)g of the
said schip and anence the licence that the said Simon
and (j)oh(n)±hayne allegit that the said (j)oh(n)±wright~
& (j)oh(n) of pettyndreich~ had grauntit thai(m) to lay on land
in ab(er)dene vj chald(er) of salt the said parties su(m)myttit
thai(m) to the ordinance of the said Ald(er)ma(n) and p(er)sounes
of counsaile And syne becaus(s) the chart(er)\party of thair(e)
frachting was noght~ p(re)sent the±quhilk ald(er)ma(n) & counsaile

al the said debat(is) to thair(e) (j)ug(is) ordinar(e) at hame and thai haue ordanit that now in the menetyme
the forsaid(is) simon and (j)oh(n)±hayne sal pay to the said (j)oh(n)±wright~
and (j)oh(n)±petty(n)dreich~ vij lib~ x s~ in parte of payment of
the fracht~ of the salt but p(re)iudice of ony party and
the remanand of the fracht~ eft(er) as it sal# #be (j)ugit at
